【war-related site】Machine Gun Bunker of Takashikaba

This bunker is located in a natural jetty that expands along the shores south of the Ueno German Culture Village. In the middle of the bunker, there is a hole in the limestone, thought to have been made to support a machine gun. It is believed that the shaft of the machine gun was placed in the hole for support, then secured with a tripod to aim at the target.
