【Designated by the City:Historic Site】Nudogubiabu
Nudogubiabu is located in a forest, 1.5 km southwest of Kanamaraabu. It is about 22 m deep and has two mouths. The larger entrance is 3 m wide and 25 m long with stairway access from the northeastern side. The other one is a well-like vertical hole divided by a natural bridge, measuring 3 m in width and 7 m in length.
If you go down the stairs to the bottom, you will see a room where icicle-shaped stones have developed on the right, and a floor mixed with gravel, soil, and humus, and roots including aerial ones hanging down to the floor. Deep inside the cave towards the southwest, there are remains of cooking stoves used by the Japanese military forces during the war.
