【war-related site】Underground Bunker Cluster of Takigusubaru

The cluster is formed with bunkers which are scattered across the eastern side of Nobarudake. Among them, bunker #5 is the largest, extending to a total of 80 meters, completely dug into the limestone rock. From interviews and testimonies, there are accounts that a headquarters bunker was located in this vicinity, and with the scale and size, as well as the formation inside with pillars and other features, it is believed that this bunker was the headquarters for the 28th Division. The interior was large enough to accommodate several hundred people.
